Since 2002, the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce has been honoring businesses in the community, that have been a member of our chamber for 1 year or more, by awarding those that stand out for their exceptional achievements and accomplishments each year. The awards are categorized into 4 groups that differentiate organizations by their non-profit status and by number of full time employees. Businesses in the community that have been a member of our chamber for 1 year or more are encouraged to apply! Each application is judged and scored by a panel judges and the top three finalists of each category are announced at our Celebrate Cy-Fair event in January. The winners are selected from the highest score within each category and are announced and awarded at our February General Membership Luncheon.
Judging
Each application is judged and scored by a set of three independent judges for each business size category from a panel of 12 judges made up of business people and leaders in our community. The applications are scored on a 20 point scale and finalists are chosen by the top 3 highest scores in each category.
*No Chamber staff members are involved in the selection of the winners.
**There is a 6 year waiting period for previous winners to re-apply for the award.

when can i reapply?
- There is a 6 year waiting period for previous winners to re-apply for the award.
do part time employees count when distinguishing my business size?
- Part-Time employees do NOT count and should not be included in your employee total. Only full time employees will qualify you for each category.
how are the applications scored?
- The applications are scored on a 20 point scale and finalists are chosen by the top 3 highest scores in each category. providing detailed information, stories, and examples will assist our judges in making their decisions.
where can i find out how long we’ve been a member?
- Please contact the Cy-Fair Chamber office and any member of our staff can assist you in looking up your membership information.
can i include pictures with my application?
- You can absolutely include photos with your application! If you choose to do so, please limit to 3 photos total and send to paula@cyfairchamber.com with the business name and category you are applying for.
